Shopping Policy

We understand the importance of swift delivery. While we strive to maintain quick order processing and dispatch, please note that third-party courier timeframes are beyond our direct control. The estimated delivery times displayed at checkout are approximate and meant for guidance. We appreciate your patience as our dedicated team and couriers work diligently to ensure timely deliveries.

No In-Property Hand loading

We no longer offer in-property hand loading services to prevent any potential issues or damages. Our drivers are here to deliver to your doorstep safely, without entering your property. Our delivery fee only covers transportation costs to your specified address.

Receive your order and Item Inspection

Order Collection

For larger or fragile items, we carefully palletize them to minimize transit damage. It’s your responsibility to have someone available at the delivery location to assist the courier driver in unloading. While the courier may notify you before arrival, specific arrival times may not be provided. If you’re unavailable for collection at the provided delivery address, your order will be returned to the local depot for later collection.

Goods Inspection

Thoroughly inspect your received goods before signing any delivery documentation. This step is crucial to ensure your complete satisfaction.

  • Post-Delivery Damage
    We cannot be held responsible for any damage reported after delivery and without prior inspection.
  • Acceptance Upon Signing
    Your signature on the delivery docket for third-party couriers signifies acceptance of goods in good condition.

    We strongly recommend immediate inspection upon delivery, particularly for orders exceeding $100. An insurance fee applies, ensuring coverage for damages. Should you encounter damaged items, please decline signing the docket, take photos of the affected products, and promptly contact us. We’ll assist you in filing a claim with the courier and swiftly arrange a replacement. Failure to follow this process may hinder compensation efforts.

Note: If your order is packed on the pallet, to inspect, please do not move the goods from the pallet when checking.

Expected Delivery Time

Anticipated delivery times are provided on each product page:

  • Sydney Metro: 1-3 working days (with a one-hour notice from our driver if “MBD Own Delivery” is selected)
  • NSW, ACT: 3-5 working days
  • VIC, QLD: 5-10 working days
  • SA, WA, TAS, NT: 7-14 working days
    Please note that these are average expected times (AET) based on historical data. Actual delivery times depend on couriers and are beyond our control.

Delivery Cost

The delivery cost can be only known on the Cart page or the Checkout page. For quick access without creating an account, utilize either of these methods:

  • Cart Page: After adding products, visit the cart page and use the “Shipping Calculator” for instant cost estimation.
  • Checkout Page: Proceed to the checkout page, input your “Postcode” and “State,” and view the shipping cost in the “Cart Summary” section.

Delivery Methods

1. My Bathroom Depot Own delivery team
If you’re located in Sydney, choose “MBD Own Delivery” during checkout. This option is available for Sydney metro and eligible areas where our delivery team operates. The delivery fee is fixed and starts at $90+. Our delivery team operates Monday to Friday, barring exceptional circumstances.
2. Third Party Courier (Suitable for all)
Ideal for customers outside Sydney or beyond our own delivery range. This option accommodates all types of goods, including larger or fragile items.

Order Tracking

For orders dispatched using third-party couriers, you’ll receive a tracking order email or note once your shipment is in transit. This notification will be sent to the email address you provided during order placement.

Terms & Conditions

Standard Delivery Fees include a single delivery
Delivery fees are based on a single delivery only. Our team are happy to arrange multiple deliveries if needed for an additional fee.
Delivery Times
For an accurate delivery time estimate please refer to the shopping cart page after your postcode has been entered. Please note: if your cart has a mixture of items with Instant, Regular or Custom Ship times, we will send them in one delivery based on the longest product lead time. Please Email us if you need split deliveries, which can be arranged for a fee.
Remote Locations
Some very remote locations may not be accessible by our logistics suppliers and your items will be delivered to the nearest transport depot, hub or Post Office. You will be advised by our delivery company if this is the case.
Transit Damage
All our deliveries include insurance. Please check all deliveries within 24 hours for damages as we cannot accept a damage claim outside of this timeframe.
Heavy and Fragile Item Delivery Assistance
Our drivers are equipped to deliver heavy products to the front entrance of single level house only with flat drive ways. For apartment or challenging sites, the driver will need assistance from trades or customers to move products. Please let our team know if there are access difficulties at your home. Redelivery fees will apply if the driver is unable to deliver products when they arrive to site.
Authority to Leave
You may request an authority to leave your goods unattended, however please note it will be your responsibility if the product is damaged, lost or stolen after delivery is confirmed by our couriers.
Out of Stock Products
We hold a wide range of stock in our Sydney distribution centre with daily replenishment deliveries from all our suppliers. If for some reason we cannot get your order within the time promised we will email you ASAP after placing your order to find an alternative or work with you on a delivery time.
